Happy Easter!

I received and Easter package from "Grannee & Papa & US" on Monday so it was a little late, but MUCH appreciated(:  It was filled with many wonderful goodies! Can you tell I LOVE rice krispies ;)

So thank you Grannee and Papa and US! haha (thats what the package said it was from :)





Too bad I couldn't wear the 'ears' on easter. Oh well I can save them for next year! or maybe Halloween(:  Thanks again! I really appreciate all the thought and love that went into sending me this package!

Disney World Here I come.. in a few months(:

This program will allow you to gain academically-oriented work experience - the kind that provides participants in any major with the tools they need to compete effectively in today's job market. 


As a Hopper Cast member your responsibilities may include: working in different locations within the same role or working in multiple roles, including Quick Service Food and Beverage, Merchandise, Attractions, Custodial, and Main Entrance Operations (which includes Parking, Park Greeter, and Ticket Operations). 

I received this letter on April 15th, 2011 and after a few minor complications and after I thought and prayed about the decision alot! I officially accepted the invitation on April 20th, 2011. I am really excited for this wonderful opportunity and am looking forward to the experiences I will have. I am also really nervous/anxious and hope that I can do well and make the most of this opportunity. It is for sure going to keep me busy. The Spring Semester here at BYU-I ends July 23rd (or around there) and I have to be in Florida on August 17th and the program goes until early January and then I come back to school for my next semester in January. Crazy! Im looking forward to the adventure(:

Personal Progress Goal

So in one of Peter's letters he was telling me how he was at dinner with this family and the daughter was telling him about her cousin and what her and the other young women in the ward did. Here is a video the Church made on the wonderful act of service these girls did. It is pretty amazing.

After watching this video it really made me think and I remember that I never actually completed the Personal Progress program. I have now made that a goal. I am going to start over and work on completing the program. I have asked and learned that although if I complete it now I can get my medallion, but it will not go on the official records of the church. However, when/if I have a daughter and she is in YW I can do it again with her and it will go on the records of the church. I am excited to take the opportunity to participate in Personal Progress and better myself. I know this is a great chance to learn and grow. I have a new book and am ready to start(: Sunday is a good day to start right?

Spring is here!

The first semester is offically over and I say it was pretty fantastic! I had a week break and it was nice to just relax and have some fun too (even though I was stuck in Rexburg). I'm all moved into my new dorm(: Its the start of Spring and the start of a new semester. Classes start Tuesday and I am actually excited. I have my room pretty much set up, still have to work on getting some decorations in the living room, but have have to wait for all my roommates to get here because I dont want to put stuff up if they dont want to. The stuff I have if they dont want it up then I can put it up as more decoration for my room(: oh and look! Green grass! Isnt it amazing(: looking forward to some better weather soon.. hopefully
